ORIGINAL ART : "Robot"
I would like to mention that this little robot's chest plate is (a scan of) the cover of a discarded library book. his head is from a wooden castle thing I painted and assembled months ago. I think he's pretty cute and I would be friends with him.

"Castle" digital version for print |
Which it sort of has. I put it out in the back yard and it got rained on, and it fell over and some of it came apart. But I'm fixing it. :)
Such is the transitory nature of art, and life.

ORIGINAL ART : Crazy Castle!
![]() |
"Crazy Castle" wood blocks, laser-cut frame pieces, assemblage, acrylic and spray paint, German foil scrap, and various mixed media by Tommy Kovac |
I used all of the little square shelves, and then started sawing off pieces of other long shelves I got from my aunt, using my jig-saw to make the turret thingies.
I had sooooo much fun with spray paint, acrylic paints, and these rad paint markers I ordered on Amazon! Not to mention weird little found pieces of shit I used to hang in the windows.
Here are some detail pics:

ORIGINAL ART : Forest Skull Girl
This is the "I think I'm finished but maybe not" version. I feel like I need to add stars, and some clarifying lines on the antlers. And maybe a slightly darker shadow on the skull, cast by the ferns. But in case I totally fuck it up, I wanted to get a good pic of it in this state.
