Our dogs cornered a baby possu...Good story, Tommy.<br /><br />Our dogs cornered a baby possum, and it was playing dead when I came upon it. <br /><br />I know they aren't very cute, but they are great for the landscape because they eat garden pests. They don't carry rabies, and they are marsupials (not rodents) as they carry their young in a pouch much like kangaroos.<br /><br />Hope this info. helps you to be less frightened of possums even though they look like rats on steroids.
